Geofumadas, the story of my life

Balija-1aos

More than 35 years ago (already a long time ago), I was given the opportunity to participate in a rather interesting competition. There was only one place to go, and only whoever did better could take it. I remember having as many competitors as I have seen, many of them better trained, faster, more cunning, more malicious and several even with better skills than me.

The fight was not short, the competition was tough, I had to make a very long journey for my condition, my innocence could not be more naive in the face of professional and personal jealousy that others had. I remember having to break the barrier of fatigue and pain, draw strength from where they no longer existed while others had to withdraw or sit for a moment to take a break. Others took wrong routes, lost their nose, instinct. Others I could not even hear them, they were crushed in the middle of the crowd of the strongest.

Finally, summing up how difficult it was, I had a chance to win.

That is the story of my life.

If I had the opportunity to win the first race of my life, when I was barely 6 microns, I had a primitive instinct and a tail very similar to those of the others. I must believe that I can be able to have many more successes now that I have a chance to decide, to think, to love, to consult, to trust.

Yes, it is the story of my life. and yours.

We are different, we believe in different rules, our philosophical or religious customs and beliefs differ diametrically. You love Windows, I hate it, I like to travel, some don't enjoy it, I love my kids, some of you don't want to have them. We suffer differently, I from the keyboard, you from the monitor, I write and you read, I learn basic topics and it seems childish to you.

But in something we are so equal, exactly the age of our days and nine months ago we were winners.

We should live as such.

It's the story of your life.
