Today they made me a proposal to work independently, a friend puts money and equipment and I the "knowledge" about GIS...... but when I asked myself: What can we offer potential clients?...... I was silent for a long time …… process maps??? create maps that show the weather conditions??…….Delimitation of properties??……..GIS classes…… classes on handling of this or that GIS software?……. Environmental impact studies?…… My friend asked me again: Yes, but something that causes an impact !!!!????……..
For a moment I felt as if I only knew how to make “pretty” maps and again I remained silent…….. perhaps I have been more concerned with letting them tell me what they need, instead of proposing alternatives to challenges and problems….. my friend is going to continue with the proposal to associate with a server??? I don't know…..for now I might share it with you and the GEOFUMADAS community.
