Importance for Geoengineering?

Bentley has stood firm as one of the leaders in construction technology, betting on the integration of data management technologies in engineering projects and assets. What has brought about obtaining assertive and efficient processes where all kinds of impacts are identified early. This decision to go public is not a novelty, since they previously maintained these activities through private contracts, however, after almost 36 years this offer is opened completely publicly through Nasdaq Global Select Market.

For 36 years we have served engineers with our software, passionately believing that a better performing and more resilient infrastructure is essential to improving the quality of life for people everywhere, sustaining our environment and growing our economies. Greg Bentley, CEO of Bentley Systems.

It is inevitable not to ask ourselves: What is the importance of this step in the world of Geoengineering? In a way it will change how product procurement and construction-related event planning are handled, but not for the better, but for the better. Promoting the creation of solutions related to the infrastructure sector (both in public services, buildings, urban planning or water management), increasing the dynamism in the life cycle of information, construction and operation of objects, which is magnified by integrating with BIM and DT (Digital Twins, Digital Twins).

The mission of the Geoengineering professional is to enter this new world, which has made its way in a violent way, taking advantage of the technologies that make the design, modeling, analysis, storage, construction and monitoring of data easier. Each of the technologies present in the AEC chain (Architecture, Engineering, Construction) require absolute integration, DT and BIM could be the main methodologies for infrastructure management, but the spatial component should never be left aside. The combination BIM + DT + GIS is really powerful, and it is the basis that will remain prevalent in this 4th industrial revolution.
